455 Sociometric Choice Test (Hindi/English): by Dr. Meera Joshi & Dr. Jagdish Pandey. This test records interpersonal attractions among the members of a group. The test should be used with a group of persons who have been together long enough to be acquainted with one another, such as in a class, in a factory, club, etc. Each individual is asked to choose five group members with whom he would like most and also dislike most to study, play, sit or work, lunch and walk. The names are to be written according to their choicest posistions. The choices may be interpreted either in manner of a sociogram or on the basis of ratings on the preference scale continuum.

458 Vocational Preference Test (Hindi/ English) by Dr. Meera Joshi and Dr. Jagdish Pandey. This test measures the vocational preference and is more suitable for administration in groups. Names of 15 prominent vocations are printed in 105 pairs. The method of paired comparison for noting the preferences has been adopted. The preference are accordingly to be done between each one of the 15 vocations. Total preference score for each one of the 15 vocations has to be interpreted with reference to their relative hierarchy. They may also be interpreted in terms of the relative distances between vocations. The rho-correlation provides basis of comparison of two groups. 459 Stereotype Measurement :(Hindi/English) : by Dr. Meera Joshi and Dr. Jagdish Pandey. This test is used for measuring the stereotypes developed for citizen of 10 countries. Twenty personality traits are to be attributed among the nationals of each of the ten countries, five for each national. The experiment is suitable for administration in groups. The selection of traits for citizens of respective countries will indicate the degree of stereotypes about them.

460 Dress and Personality Judgement Test (Hindi/English) : by Dr. M.M. Joshi and Dr. J. Pandey. This test uses three figures and the subjects are required to write ten personality traits after looking at each of the figures. The traits are to be measured typical dress and personality relationship and hence the judgement scores noted on five-point scale offer valid criterion of measuring them. Directions for analysing the data into quantitative and qualitative fashions have been given. The test may be used in a group situation for more balanced results.
